WHO WE ARE

Monkeybwoy Productions is a record label created by artist David Lamignan Larsen in 2004.

It all started with a design made on a napkin in a meeting and a Norwegian Knee-Grow that got robbed by 2 guys and a monkey in Gabon, Africa.

David Lamignan Larsen made an exhibition, a radio installation, where he exhibited furnitures, creating a living room like feeling in "Gallery KiT", Trondheim. He made a fictive radioshow where he produced, wrote and directed a 30 min special with commercials, weather reports, news and music (different genres and artists, all performed by David) with a little bit help from fellow art students and friends.

After he was done with this radio show, he took it to the next level where he further-developped these music artists and started producing albums. Some of the artists are known as: Mae$trO, Afro B, Aman, Nigerian Bushman, F=1LUV, Jah Samson, MC. Lyrical STD, Raï, MR. Bubble Guy, Vidar Karlsen just to mention a few...
